Peter Basford

Peter Basford has held senior positions with Lloyds Banking Group for over 30 years in retail, group audit, private banking and commercial. In 2018, he left to start up his own business which provides support for SMEs.

Peter is passionate about helping businesses and now has a broad portfolio of companies he helps and guides. He is also the proud founder of The Innovation Labs in Stowmarket, which provides co-working space and support for the digital sector.

Alison Beech

Alison Beech has worked in financial services for over three decades. She has helped a variety of different companies to grow, develop and transform their businesses including, a national chartered surveying business with a £12m turnover, a leading mortgage lender, and a London based PropTech startup.

Whilst with GRE, Alison was MD of their third-party mortgage administration business and went on to become the group’s UK HR Director, before joining the leadership team of a pan-European online mortgage broker. After this, she ran her own consultancy alongside a non-executive director role for a Ministry of Defence agency, where she was involved in a major HR management transformation project.

John Foster, Managing Director at Fosters Financial, said: “As a business we are at the point where this is the right thing for us to do. I am really pleased with the level of knowledge and experience Alison and Peter will bring to the board. Allowing someone in, to know the warts and all is an extremely big step. But I couldn’t be happier with whom I have chosen to share these intricate details with.”
